Easy Line Dance Lesson
Add a professional line dance instructor to your party to teach a couple of favorite party line dances and mixers!
Dance Contests
(Twist, Swing, Free Style, Etc.)
Single contestants or couples... Everyone in attendance forms a
circle on the floor , contestants
dance in the middle.
Will you be "tapped out" or make it to the finals?
A dance off is held and the
winner is chosen by audience applause.
Limbo-Rama (
(Danced to a medley of Limbo music) Limbo dancers attempt to bend low enough to stay below a bar held by two people being regularly lowered.
How LOW can you go??
Hula Hoop Contest
(A medley of 50/60's or Disco music)
Winner is the person who can last the longest in this hip-swingin' contest!
(Contestants could have to meet challenges to not be eliminated!)
Thread the Needle
Participants join hands in a circle, a hula hoop hanging from one person’s arm. When the music begins, the one with the hoop must step though it and pass it to his/her "neighbor" without letting go of their hands. Continue passing until the music stops, whoever has the hoop is "out"...continue play until the last person is standing.
Can be played with teams, each with their own hoop...first to the end wins.
Frozen T-Shirt Contest
( Music "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem" by Kenny Chesney)
Teams are made of contestant and 2 assistants. Teams do whatever it takes to thaw a folded fozen shirt (throwing on the ground, sitting on it, etc.) Winner is the first contestant to get the shirt on!
Balloon Stomp
A balloon attached to a string is tied to the contestant's ankle. The object is to protect your balloon while popping those of the other contestants. When the music stops, everyone must freeze. Winner is the last person left with an unpopped balloon.

Drinking Contest
(Music "Have a Drink On Me"by AC/DC)
A baby bottle filled with four ounces
of a chosen beverage is given to each contestant. When the music begins, start drinking!! Winner is the first contestant to empty their bottle!
The Race is On.............
Balloon Pass
( “Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer) Everyone form a circle. Place a long balloon between one contestant's legs...it is passed aroung the circle....can't use your hands! When the music stops, anyone touching the ballon is out....winner is the last one standing.
Suck it Up
A wild relay race using nothing but suction! Teams line up and each member is given a straw. The object is to get a marshmallow from one side of the room to the other using only the suction power through your straw. First team whose members all have a successful run are declared the winner!
Musical Chairs Scavenger Hunt
All contestants must sit on a chair on the dance floor....the DJ asks for something like a cell phone or man with a beard...The contestants run to find one....one chair is removed. The person who comes back last and doesn't have a seat is out.
Items get harder to find as there are fewer contestants!
Freeze Dance
Choose several people to be "judges" and "tap out" anyone moving when the music stops. Last one on the floor is the winner.
(Variations: when the music stops - strike-a-pose of your favorite sport, make your funniest face, etc.)
Name That Tune
This is based on the classic
radio/television game show from the 1950's.... Can you name a song just from the lyrics?
